Which Programming Language Should We Use for Data Science and AI

Details
This time, we will have different speakers, with each of them presenting a different programming language. Currently, the special characteristics of the following three programming languages will be presented:
- Python,
- R, and
- Stata
If you are familiar with a further programming language you are very welcome to present it. Just write/talk to us before the beginning of the meetup.
After the initial presentations, we are looking forward to have an open discussion about your experience with these different programming languages and your stories why you chose a particular language.
About the speakers:
- Steffen is a computer scientist with a research background in the area of empirical education and specifically familiar with R.
- Matthias is a computer scientist and AI Engineer who spent the last years building machine learning models as well as data analysis pipelines in Python.
- Jonas is currently pursuing his masters degree in quantitative economics with a minor in computer science, focusing on deep learning, and will present the programming language Stata.
After the talk, we are looking forward to have an open discussion about your experience with different programming languages and maybe your stories why you chose a particular one.
If you are not programming yet, you are of cause very welcome as well and will probably have a good idea afterwards, which programming language you might want to learn. :-)
The talk will be in English language, the discussion will be in German and English.
As always in the Starterkitchen there will be drinks available to buy and time for networking afterwards.
