Transformers for Computer Vision plus Deep Minds Latest Breakthrough Model

Details
This meeting is part of the Advanced Machine Learning Sessions of Kiel.AI and the opencampus.sh education program. Via the Kiel.AI Meetup it is additionally open to the public.
"CNNs are dead" was a common reading lately because of several papers showing the application of Transformer models (which in the field of NLP already have replaced LSTM models) in the area of computer vision, which until now has been dominated by models based on CNNs.
In this session Luca Palmieri from opencampus.sh will give us an overview at these recent papers and to what extent the application of Transformers models is already beneficial in computer vision.
Further, Henrik Horst, course guide at opencampus.sh, will present Deep Minds latest model called MuZero, which hasn't gotten much media attention yet but is seen by many as a big step forward in training reinforcement learning algorithms for a variety of different tasks simultaneously.
We are looking forward for your questions and opinions about the possibilities of these new models!
