## What We'll Cover

APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) are the backbone of modern software—connecting apps, automating workflows, and enabling AI integrations. In this hands-on session, we'll go beyond surface-level understanding to explore how APIs actually work and how to use them effectively.

You'll learn:

  • What APIs are and why they matter for productivity and automation
  • RESTful API fundamentals: requests, responses, authentication
  • How to read API documentation and understand endpoints
  • Practical use cases: integrating AI services, automating tasks, connecting tools
  • Best practices for working with APIs responsibly and securely
