Moderate - Hike: ~17.5KM - Rochlitz loop

Let's start the hiking season this year with a hike from Rochlitz along Mulde River and back.

Some more rules in addition to general group rules:

• Only sign up if you are sure about your attendance.
• People who've been "no-show" at previous events will only be allowed to join if they request the day before by messaging me given there are free spots available.
• People with multiple no-shows will not be allowed to sign up for the event.
• If you are in the waiting list please wait patiently for your turn, there is capacity limit for a reason.

Donations:
Hikes in this group are free to join, and will remain free to join for everyone, but to cover for the costs related to Meetup Organization; at the end of the hike I want to encourage participants to donate based on how much you are able to and how much value you get out of the experience (minimum 1 and maximum 5 euros). This will allow me to keep this group active and continue organizing hikes.

Route:
We will start from Rochlitz, hiking along Lutherweg hiking route and around Mulde River, visiting Schloss Rochlitz on the way.

Meeting Point/Journey:
We will meet at Leipzig Hbf Platform 23 at 09:10, and take RE 6 leaving at 09:21, we switch to Bus 629 in Geithain, arriving at 10:18 in Rochlitz.

Ticket Information:
Depending on number of people joining and those who need the ticket can share the Sachsen Ticket costing 65€ for 5 people. We buy ticket in the morning so please arrive on time. Deutschland-Ticket is also valid for the connection. If you are someone who needs to buy a ticket and share Sachsen Ticket with other participants, please let us know in the comments.

Recommended things to bring:
Please make sure you wear appropriate clothes for the weather and comfortable outdoor hiking shoes, and also carry enough water and snacks/food for yourself. Bring loose cash for sharing the ticket.

Return:
The ending time is a rough estimate only and may change depending on how fast or slow we complete the hike. There are many regional connections from Rochlitz that take us back to Leipzig. The plan is to take Bus 629 at 15:39 from Rochlitz switching in Geithain and take RE 6 to arrive in Leipzig by 16:33.
