Virtual LS Practice Session - Let's play with the Elephant in the Room

Details

Susie, Connor and Regina are inviting you to have fun with the purple elephant in the room - and have its poop go PINK.

Every relationship has at least one elephant in the room. Be it your romantic relationship, your relationship to your kids or parents, to your colleagues, to your friends. You might be aware of this elephant in the room or not. It may take on the form of assumptions, or of avoiding conversations or situations with someone.

We are inviting you to a 90 minute session to explore:
What has you trip over yourself and relationships again and again
What you are making up about yourself and those you interact with
How to bring such things up so that you can clear what is in the way of a fully connected relationship
This topic might land heavy on you - well, elephant poop is BIG. But fear not: know that this big vegan’s poop is light in weight AND you can even touch it without any risk to your health. Moreover, it is not at all poisonous, so you can break it apart and see first hand: elephant poop is made of barely digested grass. It’s harmless! And in this session we will have a look at your inner elephant’s poop with fun and play!

Bring a partner, family member, a friend, acquaintance, colleague - NOTE: you don't need to have a BAD relationship with them to attend. :-)

On the weekly virtual Liberating Structures Practice Sessions:
Most of our interactions with colleagues, peers, family and friends either have come to a halt or have moved to online platforms.
Liberating Structures can help to include and unleash everyone and to make these encounters more meaningful and enjoyable.

Throughout the month of April, we encourage our community to explore virtual Liberating Structures.
Each practice session will be hosted by LS practitioners. They might use the session to practice a particular LS or just invite to a Troika Consultation or a Wise Crowd around a particular topic or challenge. Other practitioners are invited to join.

We kickstarted this approach in our LSLab on April 1st, 2020.
