LSLab Berlin 9.0: From Change Fatigue to Engagement

Details

### Our Theme

How do we create an engaging and motivating workplace culture during times of transformation and change?
At our next LSLab Berlin, we’re diving into a question that hits close to home—for our host Bayer, and for many of us in this community:

> How do we stay engaged, motivated, and connected when the pace of change just doesn’t let up?

We’ve been asking:

  • How do we help people take ownership and responsibility during transitions?
  • How do we prevent burnout and “change fatigue”?
  • And how do we shift from constant “new” to something more meaningful—where we understand why we’re changing?

Come experiment with Liberating Structures as we explore what it takes to co-create workplaces that support and sustain us through change.

### What we’ll do

We’ll experiment with a mix of classic Liberating Structures and a couple of structures-in-development—exactly the kind of playful, hands-on discovery this lab was made for.
No need to know the structures in advance—just come ready to explore how different ways of working can unlock energy, ownership, and insight.
We’ll work with:

  • Improv Prototyping
  • XxN Writing (Structure in Development)
  • 15% Solutions
  • Mad Tea (Structure in Development)

### Our Host

We’re excited to be hosted by Bayer, who are generously opening their space and providing snacks and drinks as they navigate their own transformation journey.
🪪 Important: Please bring a photo ID and register with your real name on Meetup. Bayer requires this for check-in at the entrance.

### What this Meetup is about

This is a lab, not a lecture or workshop. We come together to practice using Liberating Structures in a real-flow setting—no slides, no teaching, just structured collaboration and co-discovery.
You don’t need any LS experience to join—just a willingness to experiment, explore, and learn alongside others.
We don’t debrief during the event (because real meetings don’t either!), but there’s always time for Q&A, sharing, and connection afterward or during the break.

### Logistics

🕡 Doors open at 6:30 pm for arrival and informal networking
🕖 We’ll kick off the structure string right at 7:00 pm
🥤 Snacks and drinks will be provided by our host, Bayer
🌍 Language note: Introduction and instructions will be in English, but you're welcome to use other languages for group or partner work—whatever works best for your group.
