LINE DANCING Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 pm. 13987 SE Richey Road, Boring, OR.
Fun for all ages. This class is NOT strictly a "Country" line dance class. We do all kinds of music: oldies rock, waltzes, rhumbas, vaudeville, Latin, a little Irish, a little Hip Hip, and yes, Country! I've been teaching for several years. I use dances I've learned in other classes, some from online, and some of my own choreography.
We'll start with Very Easy BASIC dances and progress through the evening to more advance dancing. Come even if you've never line danced.
When the weather's nice, we dance on the wooden floor outside.
$4.00 for one hour or $5:00 for two hours,
CHILDREN UNDER 13 FREE. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by parents – no drop-offs. Parents and friends may watch for free.
FIRST NIGHT FREE for anyone new.
You don't have to sign up. You can just show up.
Some things to keep in mind:
DON'T worry about your style, that will develop as you get more familiar with a dance.
DON'T be afraid to ask me to clarify or go over instructions again.
DO feel free to get creative adding arm movements, claps, spins, etc.
DO feel free to stay after class or come early to get in extra instruction time.
DO feel free to suggest songs you'd like to dance to in class.
