The "Last Mile" makes start-up founders dream and logistics experts despair. No other trend has caused more excitement in the logistics tech world in recent years. With billions of investor money and Corona tailwinds, last-mile start-ups have shaken up the world of consumption. Just a flash in the pan or the first steps into a new world of logistics and consumption?

The LogisticsTech Talks in December are all about the "Last Mile". Two absolute "front runners" of the last mile movement, Circus Kitchens and Bringoo, are our guests. Furthermore, Unilever, one of the world' largest consumer goods companies, shares its view on the last mile and developments in quick commerce.

The event will take place at the Kühne Logistics University (KLU) and will be held in English!

Circus
Talk 1️⃣ - Gourmet cuisine meets last mile logistics. In the delivery hubs of Circus Kitchens, fresh & sustainable ingredients pile up instead of parcels. The start-up delivers healthy and delicious food from its special 'Ghost Kitchens' directly to the customer's home. Prominent investors believe in the startup, which is led by none other than a former Flink co-founder. We look forward to a look behind the scenes with Circus Kitchens CTO Helge Plehn!

Bringoo
Talk 2️⃣ - Bringoo is a delivery service start-up delivering to customers directly from retail stores. The service operates without needing to set up its own warehouses. The quick commerce competition from Gorillas, Getir, flink & co. can only dream of this....
The Series-A financed start-up from Hamburg was founded in the year of the pandemic 2020, now employs over 100 people and is backed by experienced investors from the logistics and retail environment such as Frank Otto (Otto Group), Hauke Hansen (ex-Amazon) and Marcus Diekmann (Shopware).
Bringoo founder & CEO Hasib Khan tells us what we can expect from Bringoo in the future and how he envisions the next step in the last mile segment!

Talk 3️⃣ – As one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world, Unilever is particularly affected by changes in consumer behaviour & retail landscape. In the Last Mile Revolution, Unilever plays an active role and is not just on the sidelines.
How does Unilever view the last mile? What role do brands (still) play in the fast, new world of consumption when the focus is not on product selection but on speed of delivery? And does new consumer behaviour also have an impact on product development?
