🍄 Sketch, Draw & Research — Mushroom Foraging in Heidelberg

Join us for a creative and educational day in the forests around Heidelberg!

We will explore the forest, look for mushrooms, sketch and draw what we find, and learn more about local mushroom species together in the Forest in Heidelberg

🎨 What we’ll do

• 🍄 Search for mushrooms in the forest
• ✏️ Sketch and draw mushrooms, plants, and nature
• 🔎 Research and identify mushroom species
• 📚 Share knowledge and learn from each other
• 📸 Take photos for documentation
• 🌲 Enjoy a relaxed day outdoors

🍄 Mushrooms we may collect as i'm experience and expert into mushroom which one i know we can collect or edibles mushroom:)

We will collect only mushrooms that we know and can confidently identify, such as:

• Porcini (Steinpilz)
• Chanterelle (Pfifferling)
• Chicken of the Woods
• Cauliflower Mushroom (Krause Glucke)
• or any that you know
• Parasol Mushrooms

Our rule is simple: If we are not sure, we don’t pick it.

The focus of this meetup is learning, creativity, nature, and responsible mushroom foraging — not collecting as many mushrooms as possible.

⚠️ Safety first: Wild mushrooms can be poisonous, and some species can look very similar. Never eat a mushroom unless its identification has been confirmed with confidence by a qualified mushroom expert.

Bring your sketchbook, pencils, comfortable walking shoes, and bucket for picking mushroom curiosity! 🎨🍄.
