AI Meetup goes BarCamp: Join a unique, no-hierarchy gathering of software engineers, AI/ML practitioners, and technologists for an evening of real-world knowledge exchange, collaborative learning and spontaneous ideas.
Unlike traditional conferences, a BarCamp has no preset schedule or speakers. Instead, the agenda is created by you - on the spot. Whether you're building with foundation models, deploying inference pipelines, scaling microservices, or experimenting with cutting-edge AI agents, this is the space to connect, discuss, and learn from peers who are in the trenches too.
Some example sessions may include:
On-Device AI Coding Tools
Claude Code rules supreme. How can we achieve similar performance with fully local models?
Protocols and Standards
MCP, A2A, ADK - benefits and technical limitations of different agent protocols.
The future of retrieval
Context rules supreme. Is simplicity key or should we use retrieval scaffolds/toolkits? Is vector search actually worse than established search heuristics?
Agent Middleware and Trustworthiness
How can we integrate trustworthy AI principles into nondeterministic AI agents? Is human-in-the-loop middleware enough?
The final agenda will be determined by the attendees.
