For this „Ask a Mentor“, we are thrilled to welcome the mentor Volker Heise.

Volker Heise is the founder and CEO of Heise Haus GmbH, a German company specializing in modular, sustainable housing solutions. With a background as a serial entrepreneur, business angel, and interim manager, Heise brings extensive experience in digital business processes and leadership. Since 1995, he has launched and supported numerous startups, focusing on efficiency, transparency, and teamwork. Under his leadership, Heise Haus developed a modular construction system for tiny houses, row homes, and micro-apartments, all prefabricated in local carpentry shops and assembled on-site within a day. Heise also spearheaded the “BOORGEN – Buy a House with a Click” project, which reached the top 1% of the Founders Games 2024. Passionate about climate-friendly living, Heise lives in one of his own modular homes, which doubles as a showroom for the company’s vision of carbon-neutral, minimalist living.
