Join Christopher Götz and Tina Gausling from the international law firm Simmons & Simmons to discuss “AI and Liability”. They will give an overview of the liability regime that currently applies to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Germany and discuss relevant AI-specific changes to the current liability regime that have been proposed by the EU Commission or are currently being discussed on EU level and expected to be implemented in the near future. The presentation gives participants an understanding of what to be aware of in respect of the current liability regime and how the proposed AI-specific changes could impact the liability regime. This session is intended for companies applying AI-principles – whether acting as provider, user or distributor – raising companies awareness for liability risks in order to enable them to take them into account at an early stage.
