Sophia Cook & Marco Emrich: Vertical micro-frontends and Hexagonal Architecture

After the talk we have time for more drinks and smalltalk.

Abstract:
When discussing micro-frontends, the conversation frequently centers around horizontal splicing, components, and portals. However, vertical micro-frontend architectures, while less familiar, offer a wealth of unique advantages that can significantly enhance your development process. These architectures align seamlessly with Domain-Driven Design, foster scalability across multiple teams, and integrate effectively with hexagonal architecture principles.

In this talk, we will explore the benefits and trade-offs of adopting vertical sliced micro-frontends. We will dive into real-world scenarios that highlight their synergy with hexagonal architecture, demonstrating how they can improve collaboration and adaptability. Join us to gain insights that could transform your approach to building scalable and maintainable frontend solutions.
