AVL Cloud Native Developer Community Day - Keynote Speaker April Edwards

AVL's special guest, April Edwards, a Senior Developer Advocate and Practical DevOps Lead at GitHub with a wealth of experience in the field, will unravel the universe for you!

Title: "From Code to Cloud: The Dynamic Duo of GitHub and Cloud Native Development"

Did you know that GitHub is more than just a source control repository? If you're deploying immutable Cloud Native services, start off your development with Cloud Native tooling. In this talk, we’ll explore how GitHub and Cloud Native Development work together to provide an end-to-end solution for building, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications.

We will go on a journey of end-to-end development using GitHub exploring the features that will enable every person on your team to develop with in a secure and scalable way with a Cloud Native first mindset.

We'll take a hands on approach to walking through collaboration features, helping team to work together more efficiently and effectively. This session will include demos around planning, developer environments, CI/CD, testing and delivery. Demonstrating how you can deploy cloud based applications with a cloud based platform. Exploring the features of GitHub that you didn't know even existed.

AVL would like to invite members of our user group to join the talk of April and the meet & greet afterward.

Please be aware of:

• registering with your full name, your current employer (company), and your job role
• registering until the 5th of February 10:00 (we need to provide the ID bagdes)
• being on time 15:00 at the main entrance of AVL at Hans-List-Platz
• to wear the AVL guest ID badge for the time you are at the company area (you'll receive it from us)
• as a group we'll together enter the location of the talk
