Let's explore the topic of Solitude.

Here are a few prompts to get started with the conversation:

  • In your understanding, what is solitude, and how does it differ from loneliness?
  • How can solitude contribute to self-exploration and personal growth?
  • What are the potential benefits and drawbacks of spending time in solitude? How does it affect mental well-being?
  • How do we find or create moments of solitude in a hyperconnected world?

🌮 More food for thought

  • “I live in that solitude, which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity.” ― Albert Einstein

  • “Women need real moments of solitude and self-reflection to balance out how much of ourselves we give away.” ― Barbara de Angelis

  • “Your inner voice is the voice of divinity. To hear it, we need to be in solitude, even in crowded places.” ― A. R. Rahman

🚫 No-show policy
As the group size is small, no-shows have a strong negative impact on the group. As such, the policy is that as a general rule, no-shows and same-day cancellations will not be able to sign up for future events. To avoid this:

  • Only reserve a spot if you really intend to come.
  • If your plans have changed, cancel at least 24 hours before the event, to give people on the waiting list a chance to change their own plans and make it to the event.
  • If you have a real last-minute emergency and need to cancel in the last 24 hours, please contact me directly to avoid "no-show" status.
