Open Space Experience

Our initiative combines peer-driven learning experiences with a collaborative space where thinkers, freelancers, creatives, leaders, and NGOs come together to co-create and experiment. Together, we explore the art of facilitation, engage in dialogue and discovery, and connect.

It’s also our experimental live format, where we explore how people, ideas, and energies connect, and how new forms of collaboration emerge from these moments. We are a growing circle of curious minds, coming together to co-create a wide spectrum of facilitated experiences, workshops, and sessions, all rooted in deep self-exploration and innovative development tools.

What Happens in Space?
Every other Wednesday, someone brings a spark of a:

- facilitation format, group exercise, or coaching process
- powerful question they’re holding
- method they’re prototyping
- moment of vulnerability, reflection, or storytelling
- co-creation session or embodied practice

This is a peer-driven, hands-on, open-format space, not a lecture. You’re invited to test ideas, exchange feedback, experiment with tools, and learn by doing. The experience is shaped by the people who show up. Each session brings something new. It's a living ecosystem that evolves through shared learning and honest feedback, supporting both personal and professional growth.

The Open Space Experience takes place at WorkCoopHub, a project by Smart Coop, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). We’re proud to co-create this space in an environment that nurtures collaboration, creative freedom, and community resilience. This project supports freelancers, particularly those from intercultural backgrounds and newcomers, by offering interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and peer-to-peer learning. By lowering barriers for self-employed individuals and providing accessible learning opportunities, Mirror Neurons Space plays a vital role in promoting sustainable freelance careers and building a stronger professional network.
