In order to contribute to successful impact investing, Sébastien Martin aims to identify innovative and promising solutions for current and urgent challenges in oder to make them financeable - for investors and recipients.

An important key is to create trusting and lasting partnerships between investors on the one hand and impact StartUps as well as venture capital funds on the other. He is driven by the desire to develop coherent financing options and successful solutions for both: impact newcomers and impact professionals. His way of work is characterised by a sensitivity for different perspectives and interests along with the creativity to break new ground - strategically, with integrity and professionally but, with a personal touch.

Sébastien Martin has been involved in impact entrepreneurship since 2015. He is actively involved in the development of the impact ecosystem in close collaboration with impact investors. Furthermore, he is also a mentor and coach in leading StartUps and civil society funding programmes as well as a literacy think tank for the future.

Prior to 2015, Sébastien Martin worked in the financial industry for over 20 years in various management and client responsibilities. Most recently, as a member of the management team, he co-developed a Scandinavian banking StartUp and successfully guided it to an IPO.
