Kubernetes & Cloud Native Meetup - 21st of June

While we are slowly heading to the summer (hopefully, there will be one), our next meeting is just around the corner.

Title: Internal Developer Platforms, how do they work and what are your benefits of it?
Abstract:
The talk will present a framework for an internal developer platform used by teams to organize and coordinate their work. The platform is web-based and provides developers with a variety of tools to improve their work and collaboration.
The presentation will go over the various components of the platform, including the service catalog, dashboard for monitoring applications, software templates for creating new services, and third-party tool integration. It will also explain how the platform helps foster collaboration between different teams and departments.
Other topics addressed in the talk include the evolution of the platform, the challenges of adoption and use, and future developments and enhancements. Overall, the talk will provide insight into how this internal developer platform works and how it helps improve productivity and collaboration within the company.

Pascal Sochacki is an IT consultant at codecentric ag. With a background as a backend developer, he has steered his career towards platform engineering and DevOps with Kubernetes. His skills and expertise in container orchestration have helped to successfully implement complex projects.

This session will focus on lessons learnt from architecting and deploying (large) kubernetes clusters at production environments. The lessons are all real world, Ones encountered during my work with strategic customers. If I can "Save" one soul I have done my part :-)

Kobi has been working for 10 Years at AWS, spending most of the time as a Solution Architect working with strategic customers. Over the past few years he works with top AWS strategic customers tech c-level executives, helping them towards the journey to application modernisation. His focus is distributed large scale kubernetes systems.
