City Light Portaits

Dear photo enthusiasts!

Let’s capture together the magic of the city lights in amazing portraits with creamy bokeh and stunning light effects! When the warmth of the first evening lights meet the cool blue of the sky at the blue hour and later, when the city centre is on fire with lights of all colours from street lamps, shop windows, street traffic, bus stops and so on!
Time to bring out your flash again, or maybe for the first time. And don’t forget your camera tripod! With slow shutter speed and high ISO, we will be using a discreet fill light from the flash to enhance and let our subjects pop-up against the night lights. Don’t worry if you don’t (yet) have a flash, we will have a setup for you to try out. And sure enough, after the photowalk you will be looking for your own!
But that’s not all: we will also be working with coloured LED lights to blend in with the available light of illuminated signs or smartphone screens for interesting portraits!
As usual, we will need volunteers to take turns as subjects, so don’t be shy! In particular would be nice to have one or two real (or fictive 😉) couples for spectacular couple photography!
We will meet in front of Feldherrnhalle at Odeonsplatz, where will walk together, looking for nice corners as photographic inspiration. After the photo walk, we can go for a dinner together or just a drink around, review our pics and exchange tips and personal impressions of the event.
In case of bad weather, we will reschedule to a new date.
