Hidden Munich Photo Adventure – Train Your Photographer's Eye

Join us for a very different kind of photo walk as we leave the city center behind and explore one of Munich's lesser-known corners. Even many long-time locals have never visited some of the places we'll discover together!

This is more than just a photowalk - it's a small adventure combining hidden locations, beautiful views, creative photography exercises, and a relaxed Sunday evening outdoors.
The event is free and open to everyone. Whether you're shooting with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or simply your smartphone, you're welcome to join. Beginners, hobby photographers, and experienced photographers alike will all find something to enjoy.

## Route Overview

Starting from Fröttmaning U-Bahn Station, we'll explore:

• Allianz Arena area
• The historic Heilig Kreuz Church
• The replica of the church at the "sunken village"
• Müllberg and its impressive wind turbine
• Panoramic views over the Allianz Arena and the Munich skyline

If the weather cooperates, we'll finish the walk during the beautiful evening light before sunset.

## Train Your Photographer's Eye

This won't be just another casual photowalk!
Throughout the walk, you'll receive a series of fun, creative photography challenges designed to help you slow down, observe differently, and become more intentional with your compositions.

Approximately every 30 minutes, I'll introduce a new mini challenge.
For example: Find beauty in something most people would walk past.

I’m not announcing the other challenges; I want to surprise you with them on the spot, so you can’t prepare.
The challenges will be only invitations, not rules. Feel free to interpret them in your own creative way.

## Good to Know

• The walk will last approximately 3 hours.
• The route includes a gentle uphill walk to the top of Müllberg.
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
• Bring water, especially if the weather is warm (and some snacks).
• All cameras and smartphones are welcome.
• Feel free to bring a light tripod if you’re planning to stay longer to capture the evening city lights.
• Suitable for all photography experience levels.

## Optional Social Time

If enough people would like to continue chatting afterward, we can head to the DAV Climbing & Bouldering Center. (There are no beergartens around as far as I know). It's a great opportunity to relax, exchange ideas, and share some of your favorite images from the walk.
