Subtle Sunny Sunday - Easy/Moderate Difficulty

Join us for a scenic and not too challenging bike tour through the rolling hills south of Munich! This route offers quiet roads, beautiful views, and a mix of shaded forest paths and open countryside.

10:30am.

The S3 departing Marienplatz at 10:03 reaches Deisenhofen at 10:31 and we will aim to set off immediately.
📏 Route Summary:

• Total Distance: ~45 km
• Total Elevation Gain: ~300 m
• Difficulty: 🚴‍♀️ Easy to Moderate
• Surface Mix: Mostly Asphalt, a little gravel.

⛰️ Elevation & Climbing Details:

• The first half of the ride has almost all of the elevation gain.
• First pause is a view from Ludwigshöhe
• There will be a few short (less than 500 meters) and not very high (25-30 meters) hills - approx. 5%
• Lunch is anticipated at kilometer 25, (approx 90 minutes).
• After lunch, it’s a measly 20km easy going on quiet roads to Sauerlach where we'll have a refreshment stop.
• From Sauerlach, you are free to take the SBahn back to Munich, or cycle the very flat, paved cycle route back to town.

Pace will be social – no one gets left behind*. We'll take short breaks at the top of every hill.

Caveat - we will hold a light, but reasonable pace of about 18-20 km/h.
