With its sixth edition, Organ & Poetry at Luisenkirche Berlin-Charlottenburg welcomes one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary German poetry. The evening’s guest is Andreas Altmann, a poet whose language is free from fashion or effect—an art of attention that turns the act of perception itself into poetry.
The program includes organ works by:
- Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750): Das alte Jahr vergangen ist, BWV 614
- Christoph Bossert (b. 1957): Du, großer Schmerzendmann – Chorale Prelude
- Maurice Duruflé (1902–1986): Fugue sur le nom d’Alain, op. 7
- Hermeto Pascoal (1936–2025): Little Church, arranged for organ
Organ: Jack Day
Curator: Thomas Wohlfahrt
