The year 2025 marks a fundamental shift in how we architect solutions—at AWS re:Invent, CEO Matt Garman introduced Inference as the fourth building block alongside Compute, Storage, and Databases. In this session, I'll share real-world insights from implementing AI-native solutions at Belden Inc., where we transformed network management by deploying AI Agents as "digital employees,". We'll explore why Inference changes everything (from UI-first to Outcome-first architecture), practical patterns for building AI Agents with AWS Bedrock and Lambda. This isn't about adding AI features to products—it's about building AI-native solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes by changing way of how we think about software development.
