PhiloHike – Philosophy & Nature Walk 🌿🧠

(Please update your RSVP since we need to make reservation at the restaurant. Also note that official meeting point is 10:00 directly at Ochenbruck Bahnhof, not Nürnberg. Arrange your arrival from other cities considering that)

Join us for the very first PhiloHike, a relaxed philosophy meetup combined with an easy hike in nature. The idea is simple: walk, think, talk, and meet new people while enjoying the beautiful forests around Schwarzenbruck.

We will meet at Ochenbruck Bahnhof, which is easily reachable by car or by S-Bahn from Nürnberg. (If the S-Bahn is not running, replacement buses usually stop nearby.) The meeting time will be around 10:00, depending on the arrival of the train from Nürnberg.

At the beginning of the event we will introduce a simple discussion format that helps participants connect in small groups and explore philosophical topics together. During the walk there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, reflect, and meet different people. The event language will be English so everyone can participate

The hike itself is easy and relaxed, suitable for most people. Our destination is Waldschänke Brückkanal, where we will have lunch break. You are welcome to buy food there or just enjoy a drink at the restaurant. This will also be a moment to continue the discussions in a larger group

After lunch, the walk continues in a more informal way: people can wander, talk, and connect freely while we slowly make our way back toward the train station

This is our first PhiloHike, so the goal is simple: enjoy nature, share ideas, and create a friendly space for thoughtful conversation
