## Michael Vax - Technical Debt from a Business Perspective

Technical debt is a broadly known concept that is mostly discussed in technical terms. This talk analyses different types of debt in software projects from the Business perspective. We will discuss how to recognize technical debt, different forms and aspects of it, technical debt impacts on the business, and multiple strategies to pay it off.

The main goal of this presentation is to empower development leaders to move the technical debt discussions from standups to boardroom meetings.

We'll try out something new: a fireside chat with Emil, i.e. an open, moderated Q&A focussing on a small number of topics rather than a talk with slides.

Please head over to Slido (https://app2.sli.do/event/0z7db2we/questions or use #on-product-16 on slido.com) and enter / upvote questions you want me to ask Emil. I'll put in some for the start and will clusture/structure them before the event. You'll be able to use this tool during the event as well.

We're looking forward to see you on August 1st!
