Hello world!
Arduino is turning 10 years old and all over the world the maker community will meet to celebrate its birthday http://day.arduino.cc
Time has come to celebrate physical computing and hardware hacking, with blinking LEDs, noisy buzzers and rebellious motors!
In Berlin the PhysicalComputingClub (http://www.physicalcomputingclub.org) is planning a full afternoon of hacking, demos and intro sessions to the Arduino platform in collaboration with OpenTechSchool (http://opentechschool.org), betahaus (http://www.betahaus.com), TinkerSoup (https://twitter.com/TinkerSoup) and Afrimakers (https://www.facebook.com/events/824442710903469/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming).
The event is open to everyone, no age limit, no pre-requisites.
Did you just hear about Arduino and want to know more? Did you attend a workshop and want to meet fellow enthusiasts? Or you want to join a challenge to create a working project in 4 hours? Or maybe you just want to get inspired by other makers projects?
This event is for you!
We will host 15min. intro sessions every hour for newbies and curious, a full speed hackathon for makers and a show and tell where experienced makers will share their projects.
Plus, the awesome people at TinkerSoup will offer a prize for the best hack!
Here’s a schedule of the event:
