Udacity Global Meetup supported by OpenTechSchool

This is a Meetup not only for learners, that already have taken a class at udacity.com, but everybody interested in learning with online classes. So if you are please feel invited for this event. Udacity.com is one of the websites that offers free online classes on subjects like programming, math, and physics.

The meetup will take place on the on September 15th from 14:00 to 17:00 at co.up (Adalbertstr. 7-8, 10999 Berlin), which is kindly providing the space.

Program

The Berlin edition of this meetup will have a very special guest: Professor Jörn Loviscach ( http://www.j3l7h.de/ ). His Udacity class, "Differential Equations in Action (cs222). Making Math Matter" has just started. Loviscach will give a talk with the topic, "Udacity from the inside and the outside: profit from free education."

Further topics in the program:

• a discussion with professor Loviscach with questions and answers about Udacity, and the possibility to give feedback

• local learning initiatives will introduce their work: RailsGirls Berlin and OpenTechSchool

• you can introduce yourself to other participants of the meetup and find a learning group for the class you are currently taking or plan to take in the future

• you can give a lightning talk (5 minutes) on the (learning) subject you are interested in
