OWASP Frankfurt #57 In-Person Event: Cloud Security, DevSecOps & More!

Hi folks, for our OWASP Frankfurt 2022 summer edition, we are looking forward to welcome you to our next in-person event in Frankfurt!

_What's going to happen?
We are looking forward to welcome you for our OWASP Frankfurt Meetup hosted by CHECK24 Frankfurt. This time, we are delighted to offer a range of talks around Cloud Security, DevSecOps and so much more! There will be also plenty of time to socialize before and after the event at the venue.

_What are we going to talk about?

• _Talk 1 - *"*Azure Cloud Security Best Practices" by Gregor Reimling, Managing Consultant and Cloud Solutions Architect at adesso SE.
  Gregor will address the top best security practices you should know, focusing on highest impact and rapid implementation guidelines to get directly take aways for your cloud environment. This incldues amongst others: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, passwordless options, threat protection and enterprise network segmentation.
• _Talk 2 - "How to DevSecOps in the context of public sector and small to medium sized enterprises" by Christian Klünter, Cyber Defense Manager and DevSecOps Consultant at Alliance Automative Group. Christian will share his experience embedding a DevSecOps culture in the public sector, covering which major obstacles were to overcome in order to introduce and scale shift-left security practices. Christian will also talk about which steps and tasks to tackle in order to kick-start your DevSecOps program in your organization.
• _Talk 3 - TBA

_Afterwards? We will pre- and conclude the evening with the possibility to socialise at the venue with free food and cold & hot drinks kindly provided by CHECK24 Frankfurt.

_When
Our Meetup takes place on the last Wednesday of the month in October, namely on 26.10.2022 from 18:00 to 20.30 o'clock CEST (ca. 2.5 hours)

CHECK24 Frankfurt is located at Speicherstraße 55 in Frankfurt am Main, ca. 15min within walking distance of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.
