Am Montag, den 26.10.2026, 18:30 Uhr findet der OWASP-Stammtisch in München bei der TNG Technology Consulting GmbH statt (anderer Ort, anderer Tag!).

Dieses Mal freuen wir uns besonders auf das IT-Sicherheit- und OWASP-‚Urgestein‘ Jim Manico aus Hawaii.

  -- Why Secure Software Begins Before the First Line of Code (Jim Manico)
  Developers spend enormous effort fixing defects that should never have existed. The root cause is often not poor coding. It is poor requirements. This presentation introduces Spec-Driven Development, a disciplined engineering approach where precise, security-aware specifications become the foundation for implementation, testing, code review, and AI-assisted development. You'll learn practical techniques for writing requirements that are measurable, verifiable, and resistant to ambiguity, allowing both humans and AI to consistently produce secure software. Because secure code starts with secure specifications and engineering discipline.

Jim Manico is the founder of Manicode Security, where he trains software developers on secure coding and security engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in application security, a global board member of the OWASP Foundation, and is the author of Iron-Clad Java. Jim has taught thousands of developers at Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and government agencies how to write code that holds up under attack. His current work focuses on secure AI-assisted development and building spec-driven workflows and prompt libraries that let teams use tools like Claude Code and Codex securely. He is a frequent speaker at security and developer conferences worldwide and lives in Kauai, Hawaii.
