Break away from your screens and join fellow tech professionals for a refreshing day in the Bavarian Alps! Herzogstand offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Walchensee and surrounding mountains. This hike combines physical challenge with networking opportunities in a stunning natural setting.

## 🗻 The Route

We'll begin our ascent from the parking lot at Walchensee, following the well-marked trail up to the Herzogstand summit (1,731m). The path offers varied terrain through forest and alpine meadows, with several stunning viewpoints along the way. At the summit, we'll enjoy lunch with spectacular 360° views before making our descent.

Location: Meet in Munich, then carpool to Herzogstand parking lot (1-hour drive)

Distance: ~12 km round trip

## 🚗 Transportation

We'll meet in Munich near Odeonsplatz at 7:00 AM and organize carpooling to the Herzogstand parking lot. Please indicate in the comments if you can offer rides or need one. We aim to return to Munich by 3:00 PM.

In case we are unable to arrange car pooling, another option is taking a train at 7 am.

• Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early
• The event may be rescheduled in case of severe weather (notification 24 hours in advance)
• Basic fitness level required - participants should be comfortable with 4-5 hours of hiking with elevation
• Limited spots available - early registration recommended
