What does 'being human' mean in the AI era? - Part 1

Hey dear friends :)

For this event, we have a central question:
"What does 'being human' mean when AI takes over more and more, and what does it mean for humanity?"

AI increasingly performs intellectual, creative, emotional, and social functions. This Sunday's discussion will lead us through different viewpoints of humanity and AI that I would like to discuss based on the following statements:
1. “Humans remain fundamentally distinct.”
2. “Humanity is evolving beyond biology.”
3. “The danger is not AI itself, but who controls it.”
4. “AI reveals humans were never as unique as we believed.”
5. “Being human is fundamentally about relationships.”

As this is a big topic, the discussion might continue in a second part if we see that there are still many things to discuss.

Strategies may help the discussion:
1. Please try to answer the question or ask a more fundamental one, rather than substituting with something else.
2. Please state your point first, then support it with examples/explanations. We try to stick to the main topic. If you have many ideas/examples, we can talk after the event :)
3. We try to let people finish the statements. However, if you talk too long without clear main points, we will intervene.
