Perseids meteor night walk

This hike varies the hike Nils offered two days ago in his meetup group. We will try to see a fragment of the Perseid meteor showers that reach its peak phase this week. Due to the nearly full moon, the conditions are not perfect, but we use this as a pretexte for a night hike.
We will meet at 20:35 at the East entrance of S-Bahn station Hermsdorf. From there, we will walk eastwards, which will give hopefully a good view to the active area in the sky. We have a break in the fields for - let's say - 45 minutes; then we return to the city via Wilhelmsruh and Reinickendorf or via Pankow, depending on the preferences of the group.I will aim to reach a public transport station by midnight, and in any case, early enough to get home on public transport.

Note:

• It will be dark and we will go mostly along unlit paths. However, in my experience, it is easier to avoid flashlights and get instead adapted to the darkness of the night.
• You are all responsible for yourself.
• Of course, there is no guarantee for seeing any meteors :)
• Bring food and drinks

The hike will take place if at least 6 people sign up. As long as there are more than 6 people, you can sign up and cancel as many times as you like. If there are 6 or less people, please avoid cancelling, as this might make the other participants feel insecure about whether the hike will take place (or whether there is something wrong with the hike and they should cancel as well --> Matthew effect - Wikipedia). If there are less than 6 participants, the hike will also take place unless the majority of the participants are in favor of canceling the hike.
