Sacrower Lake and Heilandskirche, including swimming (ca. 20 km)
Details
Wednesday is going to be a lovely summer's day, and it might well be one of the last such days of the year: We meet at the Wannsee ferry terminal (Wannsee S-Bahn station) at 9:55 am and take the ferry at 10 am to Alt-Kladow (the ferry is included in the regular BVG ticket, zone B). (The next ferry departs an hour later). Please allow enough time for the walk from the S-Bahn station to the ferry (at least 5 min.). From Alt-Kladow we follow this Komoot hike: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/1585149981 .
There will be two breaks: a shorter one at Havel and a longer one at Sacrower Lake, which will include swimming. From Kladow, we take the ferry back to the S-Bahn station Wannsee.
If you need to contact other participants during the hike (for example, to find out where to meet us if you are running late), use this WhatsApp group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/EwJh4rtVLywHI025XOVsaj . For all other purposes, especially socialising and posting photos, please use the Telegram subgroup 'Event Chat & Photos': https://t.me/addlist/KAOk2PA4BDE0ZTY8 .
Please bring enough water, coffee, tea and food for this rather long hike. Please also be prepared to walk at a relatively fast pace (5.5 km/h).
The hike will take place if at least 6 people sign up. As long as there are more than 6 people, you can sign up and cancel as many times as you like. If there are 6 or less people, please avoid cancelling, as this might make the other participants feel insecure about whether the hike will take place (or whether there is something wrong with the hike and they should cancel as well --> Matthew effect - Wikipedia). If there are less than 6 participants, the hike will also take place unless the majority of the participants are in favor of canceling the hike.
