Portrait Exchange: Model & Draw Workshop

Join us at Villa Heike for a unique and interactive portrait drawing event designed to inspire creativity and foster community among artists and non artists of all levels! In this intimate gathering of limited participants, everyone will have the chance to both create and be the subject of art.

Each session is 12€ and can be paid with cash or card. I will provide pencils, paper and drawing boards.

Each participant will take a turn sitting as a model for 5 to 10 minutes while the others capture their likeness in pencil, charcoal, or ink. No prior experience required, just a willingness to participate and have fun. As the session progresses, you’ll experience both sides of the creative process: the challenge of sketching a fellow artist under time pressure and the quiet focus of holding a pose while being drawn by others. At the end of the event, we’ll gather to discuss the drawings, sharing insights, techniques, and the stories behind each piece. Each participant will then have the opportunity to select one drawing of themselves to take home: a personal keepsake from a memorable artistic exchange. This event is perfect for anyone interested in portraiture, figure drawing, or simply connecting with others through art. It’s a relaxed, supportive environment where curiosity and collaboration are celebrated. Come ready to draw, to be drawn, and to leave with a new perspective and a portrait you’ll treasure!
