Cost per session of 5 classes is $140 and all materials are provided. We tried to offer this for free like last year but this is what we can do for now and we totally understand if it’s not something affordable for you, but, if you came last year and found it valuable to your mental health, invest in yourself this time, you deserve it. It’s not an outrageous Friday night expense and much cheaper than therapy - and I’m a therapist lol.

Classes are two tracks, one that is intermediate, working on your painting skills and one that is beginners and art therapy relaxation focused. You must sign up through the YMCA. If you ask the YMCA they can split the payment so half in April and half in May. Sign up now and reserve your spot! It’s rare to find a safe community and our energy is fantastic.

**ARTFUL LIVES™ Painting Skills**
Class dates are: 4/4, 4/18, 5/2, 5/16, 5/30.
Each class will cover an aspect of a Classical Art education. Art history, perspective, color theory and more are presented. You will be learning technical painting skills and will have OPTIONAL homework assignments to do between classes.
Art materials provided for acrylic painting, but you can bring your own if you would like to paint in another medium (watercolor, digital, etc.)

**ARTFUL LIVES™ Anti-Anxiety Painting**
Class dates are: 4/11, 4/25, 5/9, 5/23, 5/30
Led by a licensed therapist and artist, this relaxing painting class will combine proven techniques for reducing anxiety with learning painting techniques for painting organic shapes including landscapes and flowers. This class will encourage you to let go of perfectionism and embrace the soothing process of creating. Leave each session feeling refreshed, centered, and empowered, with new tools to manage stress and cultivate peace in your everyday life.
