Whether you are a seasoned balloon artist or someone who has never touched a 260Q, we would love to have you join us for our upcoming Philadelphia Twist and Shout workshop. This is a relaxed, hands-on session where we get together to share techniques, troubleshoot tricky sculptures, and enjoy the company of fellow makers. We keep the atmosphere casual and supportive, making it a great space to pick up a new trick or refine a design you have been working on.

This event is open to anyone in the Philadelphia area with an interest in balloon art, from hobbyists to professionals. Please bring your own pump and whatever balloons you prefer to work with, though we will have plenty of extra supplies on hand if you need them. We will spend the time trading tips and working through projects at our own pace. If you are planning on coming, please let us know by hitting the RSVP button so we can get a sense of how many people to expect.

We are getting together for another session of the Durham Karate Connection Sparring and Social. This is a chance for practitioners of all levels to step onto the mat, exchange ideas, and get some quality sparring time in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We focus on technical growth and respectful practice, so whether you are looking to test out some new combinations or just want to get your heart rate up with like-minded people, you will find a good group here.

After we wrap up on the floor, we will head over to a nearby spot to grab a drink and catch up properly. The social side is just as important as the training, as it gives us a chance to talk through what we worked on and get to know each other outside of our respective dojos. If you have been meaning to drop by and see what our community is all about, this is the perfect time to join us. Please let us know if you can make it by updating your RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

We are getting together for a session of Boston Crag Scholars: Theory Meets Vertical to bridge the gap between technical climbing knowledge and actual movement on the wall. This gathering is designed for those who want to move beyond just climbing and start digging into the mechanics, safety systems, and training theory that make us better, more thoughtful climbers. We will spend the first part of the session sharing insights and discussing specific climbing concepts, then head over to the wall to put those ideas into practice.

This event is for anyone in our community who enjoys the analytical side of the sport and wants to connect with others who approach their climbing with a bit of curiosity. Whether you are working on a new technical skill, refining your movement, or just looking to break down a specific project with a group of people who care about the details, you will fit right in. Bring your gear and come ready to talk through some climbing logic before we start the session.

It helps me out a lot with planning the logistics to know who is coming, so if you think you can make it, please take a moment to RSVP. I look forward to seeing everyone there and getting into the weeds of some good climbing talk.
