Our social events are welcoming to all levels: beginners starting a new hobby, or folks who have been drawing/animating for years. Join us every 1st and last Thursday prepared to sip, draw and learn with new friends (while listening to Notes and Motes soft jazz). Please **MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE FOOD/DRINK.** Thanks :)

Most people tend to draw or work on art projects, however you can come with whatever creative project you're working on.

* 7pm-9pm Social and work session
* **\~Optional: The Portland Zine Meetup goes from 9-11pm on the same nights.**
* We will be using the buddy-system and walking folks to their cars after the event. Safety first!

* **Table 1:** First table is an open discussion group for folks who are wanting to primarily socialize and discuss digital art and other relevant topics.
* **Table 2:** Second table is a heads down work table for folks who are wanting to focus on getting projects done.

We focus on promoting the use of free and open source software like Blender, Krita, Audacity, Inkscape, GIMP, LibreOffice, and more. This way barriers to entry are low and anyone with a device can start learning for free!
