Welcome. We're a friendly group for those who program using the Python language as well as those wanting to learn it. Social and Networking starts at 6 PM. Our normal meeting will start at 7pm.

**Pythonic AI Agents 102**

Now that you know about AI Agents, how does one build them in a way which is readable, simple, and idiomatic?

This talk introduces the Pydantic AI agent framework - created by the team behind Pydantic Validation. This framework comes batteries-included with integrations to the latest models and providers, structured inputs and outputs (tool support), and observability (opentelemetry). More importantly it lets keeps simple agents simple, and provides optional tools
to make complex agents easier.

**Brad Ito:**
Co-Founder and CTO of an acquired AI startup, former head of engineering of another. Over the past 20 years of technical leadership led other VC-backed startups through acquisition, and non-VC startups from zero to millions in revenue per month.

* **Documentary Screening** — Stick around on the 3rd floor at Geekdom for a 90-minute Python documentary from the Cult-Repo team, chronicling Python’s rise from an Amsterdam side project to a global programming powerhouse.
