In-person knot-tying workshop for beginners aboard a historic ship; learn core maritime knots and leave with practical knowledge and a line to take home for practice.

Some knots are older than charts, compasses, or engines—and they’re still used every day at sea.
Join us aboard the historic Research Vessel *ROBERT* *GRAY* for a hands-on knot-tying workshop where you’ll learn the essential knots sailors, explorers, and working ships rely on. No experience required.
We’ll cover practical knots like the bowline, clove hitch, cleat hitch, and figure eight, explain when and why they’re used, and give you time to practice with real line in a relaxed, small-group setting.
Wine, tea, and light refreshments are included.

Step aboard the historic Research Vessel *ROBERT* *GRAY* for an intimate movie night on deck. Think blankets, soft lighting, a carefully chosen film, and the quiet comfort of being on the water together.
Each couple receives fresh popcorn and a glass of wine or bubbles. Seating is cozy, the atmosphere is warm, and the pace is unhurried.
We recommend dressing warmly - extra blankets are provided - and arriving a little early to settle in before the film begins.
