About the Keynote:

Sono Motors is an incumbent automaker with a special DNA. The vision “A world without fossil fuels” has amassed more than 18,000 reservations for the Sion, the first solar electric vehicle that is ready to be shared.
Johannes and Cris will share how the team had to adapt to this and what they took away from this as product managers. Some of the particularities were: automotive environment and with long cycles and intertwined regulation, hardware development (hardware is hard), collaborating closely with a community in product development…

About the Speakers:

Johannes Bückle has been Head of Product Development in the Sono Digital team since 2019. He is responsible for the digital journey of Sion owners and for Sono Motors’ shared mobility services: car sharing, ride pooling, and power-sharing. In this way, he contributes significantly to Sono Motors’ mission to use cars as a resource more efficiently and to reduce the number of cars on the road. His conviction to work as a product manager stems from a firm belief that less is more in most products. Johannes looks back on almost ten years of experience in consulting, the automotive industry, and start-ups. During this time, he developed several digital services & apps e.g. BMW Mobility Services. Johannes originally graduated in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich. He also completed a Master of Business Administration at the trinational Collège des Ingénieurs.

Cristina Teixeira joined Sono Motors as Mobility Services Product Owner in September 2021 and holds a bachelor's and master's degrees in Multimedia Communication from Universidade de Aveiro, where she trained on how to bring to market digital products, from conceptualization to production deployment. Previous to Sono, Cris had different product responsibilities in various fields such as Energy Services (DCS), Autonomous Services & Private CarSharing (Daimler), and Food delivery (Hellofresh).
