Mathematical Thinking in Psychology for Everyday Life
Details
This is an informal meeting where there will be no boring maths or confusing psychology. Instead, there will be an opportunity to have a good time, socialise and meet new people. This meeting is for people who are curious about psychology and want to understand themselves and their lives a bit better.
If you have a background in science, engineering, IT, or research, you may have noticed that many psychological resources feel vague, confusing, or poorly explained. At this meeting, we will try a clearer and more structured way of working with psychology.
We will focus on three topics:
- How useful life experiences can be described and repeated using psychological models
- How to work with intense aggression in a way that makes it more manageable and less destructive, helping you understand yourself better
- A simple and practical theory of emotional competence (Part 1)
You will have a chance to try these ideas yourself, share impressions, ask questions, enjoy some tea, and connect with others in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
Address in the centre of Heidelberg: Häuserstrasse 15. There is a sign there ABV.
