• 19:50 - Enterprise-ready FastAPI // Alexander Ptakhin
FastAPI is awesome! I’ll share my experience designing larger applications, improving the structure of monoliths, and handling API/database migrations. We’ll discuss usage Depends vs. DI containers, straightforward ways to implement tests (unit to e2e), and how to configure logging/tracing for better observability. Plus, I’ll touch on deployment strategies. I aim for this talk to offer developers and leads, even those using different frameworks, practical insights on ensuring better testability and observability in services.

Alexander is the technical lead in a fintech startup in Berlin. With experience in startups and big tech companies, Alexander is passionate about better quality and development processes.

• 20:20 - Python in music: OSC, MIDI and asyncio // Artem Popov
Python is a great language for creative coding and music applications in particular. In this hands-on talk we'll see how to add rhythm and groove to Python scripts, use asyncio to synchronise code, and how to connect to hardware and software-based musical instruments.

Speaker's bio:
Artem Popov is a programmer and musician, who has been performing with code for over a decade. He is currently employed by Native Instruments.
