🎙 Main talk by Matti Schwartz, Peter Rosemann: Insight UI
Insight UI is a front-end framework for Django applications designed for rapid prototyping that can be used without in-depth knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc. Inclusion is also important to us, which is why all components are built in accordance with the WCAG AA guidelines, ensuring that websites built with Insight UI are fully accessible. In this panel discussion, Peter Rosemann will briefly introduce the Berlin-based startup Alpin Insight and then hand off to Matti Schwartz, who will provide a brief overview of Insight UI’s development to date and present its core features. This will be followed by a demonstration featuring a live application example, as well as a brief look at Insight UI’s components and documentation. Finally, we’ll present our roadmap for the future of Insight UI.
🧑💻 About Matti Schwartz
Full-stack developer specializing in front-end development for DaaS applications. Three+ years ago, I earned my master’s degree in Media Informatics, with a focus on web/UI development, from BHT-Berlin. I’ve been working at Alpin Insight ever since, where I build the user interfaces for our products. Over time, I’ve been able to develop my skills significantly in this area thanks to the creative freedom I’ve been given, and I’ve learned a great deal about accessibility in web development through our projects for the Federal Foreign Office. This knowledge, combined with our company’s expertise, ultimately led to the development of Insight UI, for which I am now the lead developer.
