🗣️ Talk details
➡️ Vitor Alencar - How the New 'use' Hook Changes Everything
The new 'use' hook will change the way we write react components forever, and it will make react more dynamic and responsive to the user, now Server Components can use standard async/await syntax to access promise-based APIs. No special bindings are required, and the code is much easier to read and write.
➡️ Kim Ngan Le Dang - Keyboard Accessibility
I'm going to talk about how Zattoo applies and improves keyboard accessibility in our web application.
Keyboard accessibility is an essential part of web accessibility in general. This development has brought our product closer to every type of user and given them a more joyful experience with keyboard navigation. Through my presentation, other developers can learn and apply what I share, and create more inclusive web applications that work for everyone.
➡️ Moataz Nabil - Mobile DevOps with React Native: From Code to Release
Mobile app development has become a crucial aspect of the tech industry, and React Native has emerged as a popular framework for building cross-platform mobile applications. However, mobile app development presents unique challenges, especially when it comes to ensuring efficient delivery, quality, and scalability.
In this talk, we will discuss how Mobile DevOps can help teams streamline the development, testing, and release process of React Native mobile apps. We will explore tools, strategies, and best practices for building a continuous integration and delivery pipeline that covers the entire app lifecycle, from code to release.
➡️ Daniel Ríos Pavía - Remixing Hydrogen after React Server Components
In July 2022, Shopify released the Hydrogen framework for building headless e-commerce. It was one of the first frameworks with React Server Components (RSC) used by large merchants in production. We were part of the alpha RSC working group with the React team. Then in October 2022, Remix was acquired by Shopify. And now Hydrogen v2 works on top of Remix. In this talk, I'd like to share some of our learnings in 7 minutes (phew)!
➡️ Open Mic Lightning Talks - every attendee is welcome to speak (<5min)
