Cleaner architecture with React Suspend - Robert Hostlowski
We know React Suspend together with React lazy for code splitting. Now, since React 18 it is production ready, but how can we make use of it? What are ideal use cases and how can it help to improve the overall architecture? Let's see how it can help avoid having these condition checks for loading states all over the code base? When trying it out naively and failing in the first place I want to share my learnings. Overall I found React Suspend is a great tool for extracting one aspect similar to error handling with React's error boundaries and simplifies building the UI.
Robert works as a Software Engineer Professional at IBM R&D Germany, with 8 years of experience with React.
***
Next.js - The new “App” folder & nested layouts - Omar Khatib
A short demo about the new “Nested Layouts” feature from Next.js and the power of React server components.
Omar is a senior software engineer at Tourlane GmbH, focused on frontend technologies such as React & Next.js. He loves DX and cares about developer happiness. He used to work with MediaMarktSaturn, Volkswagen, and MAN in the past.
***
The JavaScript Event Loop - Daria Harashchuk
“How is JavaScript asynchronous and single-threaded at the same time?”. The short answer is “magic of Event Loop”.
Let’s dig together into how JavaScript works under the hood. We will talk about non-blocking nature of Node, call stack, callback queue and much more.
Daria is a Full-Stack Developer at Data Machine Intelligence Solutions GmbH.

Your favorite topic - YOU
To keep the React Munich meetup active, we need your contribution.
You gained some important learnings in your project, got into some new framework or library which might be of use to others, or like to tell others about some not well known frontend technology - these are some of the cases where you can give a talk at React Munich meetup.
For onsite meetups we also are constantly searching for sites. A site should be easily reachable after work and provide room for 50-100 persons. It would also be nice to get some drinks and food.
Please contact the organizers about your talk proposal or if you like to host one of the next meetups.
