Wir sind sehr stolz darauf, dass Jeff Hicks über "PSStyle - PowerShell with Style" sprechen wird.

Jeff ist ein IT-Veteran mit fast 30 Jahren Erfahrung, von denen er einen Großteil als IT-Infrastrukturberater mit Schwerpunkt auf Microsoft-Servertechnologien und Automatisierung und Effizienz verbracht hat. Er ist ein mehrjähriger Empfänger des Microsoft MVP Award. Heute arbeitet er als unabhängiger Autor, Lehrer und Berater. Jeff hat PowerShell und die Vorteile der Automatisierung für IT-Profis weltweit gelehrt und präsentiert. Er ist Autor und Mitautor einer Reihe von Büchern, schreibt für zahlreiche Online-Sites und Print-Publikationen, ist Pluralsight-Autor und tritt häufig als Redner auf Technologiekonferenzen und in Benutzergruppen auf.

SESSION BESCHREIBUNG:
Viele Leute denken bei PowerShell an eine Skriptsprache und vergessen, dass es sich auch um eine Shell handelt. Aber dies ist nicht die Shell von DOS oder Windows 10. Die neue, moderne PowerShell-Konsole ist eine reichhaltige und bunte Umgebung.

Eine neue PowerShell 7-Funktion, die dies ermöglicht, ist PSStyle. Wir können ANSI-Escape-Sequenzen in PowerShell schon seit einer Weile verwenden. Aber wenn Du glaubst, dass reguläre Ausdrücke kryptisch sind, sind ANSI-Sequenzen nicht viel besser.

Glücklicherweise hat Microsoft uns PSStyle zur Verfügung gestellt.

Jeff is an IT veteran with almost 30 years of experience, much of it spent as an IT infrastructure consultant specializing in Microsoft server technologies with an emphasis on automation and efficiency. He is a multi-year recipient of the Microsoft MVP Award. He works today as an independent author, teacher, and consultant. Jeff has taught and presented on PowerShell and the benefits of automation to IT Pros worldwide. He has authored and co-authored a number of books, writes for numerous online sites and print publications, a Pluralsight author, and a frequent speaker at technology conferences and user groups.

SESSION ABSTRACT:
Many people think of PowerShell as a scripting language and forget that it is also a shell. But this is not the shell from DOS, or even from Windows 10. The new, modern PowerShell console is a rich, and colorful environment.

One recent PowerShell 7 feature that makes this possible is PSStyle. We've been able to use ANSI escape sequences in PowerShell for a while. But if you thought regular expressions were cryptic, ANSI sequences aren't much better. Fortunately, Microsoft has brought us PSStyle.
