In February we are happy to have Stefan on board explaining to us what a Developer Relations Engineer is doing. Afterwards we want to discuss different aspects of tech content creation! Let this be a night full of great Tech Content 🙌

What the 🥑 is DevRel, DevAdvocacy, DevX?

The field of developer relations has seen a rise in the past years. It comes in many names and form factors. Developer Relations Engineer, Developer Advocate, Developer Experience Engineer - but what are those, really?
Do you really just get paid for creating Youtube videos or is there more to it? We will talk about the variations, the goals, and the responsibilities that this profession comes with.
Also, we will talk about who is well suited for this kind of work and what might help you land your first job there.

Our speaker: Stefan Blos - DevRel Engineer @ Stream
Stefan is a working as a Developer Experience Engineer at Stream. Previously he has been doing freelance work in the fields of native iOS and Android as well as Flutter. Also, he has been working as a Software Engineer in the web and cloud space. He is passionate about all things Swift and SwiftUI as well as Machine Learning, Web, and AR. He also likes to share what he’s learning and hopes to help others with that through blog posts, talks, and videos.
