Easter Monday Walk: Discover Tegeler Fließ & Visit the Water Buffalos 🐃🌿

Join us on Easter Monday, April 21st, for a refreshing walk through the Tegeler Fließ nature reserve, one of Berlin's most picturesque landscapes. This area features a diverse mix of wetlands, meadows, and forests, shaped by glacial activity during the Weichselian glaciation. ​

As we traverse the scenic trails, we'll have the opportunity to observe the area's rich biodiversity, including a variety of bird species attracted to the different biotopes such as reed beds and damp meadows. A highlight of our walk will be encountering the water buffalo that graze in the marshy grasslands—a conservation project initiated in 2015 to preserve the unique wetland ecosystem.
