Ready to explore Autonomous Driving? Join our next Meetup!

Imagine you are in a self-driving vehicle on the streets of Hamburg, one of the busiest and most diverse cities in Europe. You are not just a passenger, but a part of a ridepooling service that offers a new mobility option. You have to trust that the vehicle can handle any traffic and passenger situation, from boarding to de-boarding, while providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable ride. How do you test such a complex and dynamic system?

In this meetup, Finn Lorbeer, the director of engineering for MOIA, will share his story of testing self-driving vehicles for a ridepooling service in Hamburg, Germany. He will reveal how he and his team were responsible for the end-to-end integration of the self-driving system with the base vehicle software and their own ridepooling and MaaS intelligence into a seamless solution.

He will also explain how they used agile and continuous integration methods to make this adventure possible, such as working in short iterations, automating tests, and getting constant feedback. He will also show how these methods enabled them to achieve remarkable results and learn valuable lessons for the future of autonomous driving and ridepooling.

As usually: Beginners and Experts are very welcome! The topic is made for everyone and we will provide you with snacks and drinks 🥨🍹

Afterwards we have some networking time scheduled.

Schedule of the event:
18:00 Doors open, mingling + drinks
