Introduction to Data Mesh & Kuehne+Nagel's approach to Data Mesh

Details
Dear all,
we want to dive into another trending topic of the Software world: Data Mesh Architecture. We are happy to have a combined session with an introductory talk by Simon Harrer and Jochen Christ from INNOQ and one concrete implementation approach presented by Michele Marconi from Kuehne+Nagel.
Talk 1 - Introduction to Data Mesh:
Data Mesh is a socio-technical approach to data management that enables teams to perform data analysis independently within their domain to make data-driven decisions. Data mesh promotes sharing data with other teams as data products and defined data contracts.
Data Mesh adopts the principles from Domain-driven Design, Team Topologies and Microservices to the data world. However, it has many organizational implications, such as ownership and federated governance.
In this talk, Simon and Jochen from INNOQ describe how a Data Mesh architecture can be implemented in practice, which organizational transformations will be necessary and which technologies are suitable in this context.
Talk 2 - Kuehne+Nagel's approach to Data Mesh:
Join Michele from Kuehne+Nagel as he walks through his experience of implementing the data mesh within his organisation.
He will explain how they tweaked this idea to match exactly what Kuehne+Nagel needed. Covering both successes and challenges faced, his talk gives a comprehensive view of the practical implementation of data mesh within a corporate landscape, offering valuable insights into its real-world applicability.
